Ah! My Goddess Season 1 DVD Set Arrives September 1st
By Keiichi Morisato
Media Blasters is preparing to release the first season of the Ah! My Goddess television series that they released back in 2005/2006. This is a re-release of the economy boxed set they released two years ago and this new set is priced affordably for anime fans to pick up on.
From the details that I have, the set is due to be released on September 1st and Amazon has it listed for Pre-Order at $31.49. The set has an SRP of $44.99 and is priced lower than the previous economy set and will include all six DVD’s. The content is unchanged.

More details will be forthcoming as soon as they become available. Use the link to Pre-Order and help support the site.
Work in Process: Restoration of Old Forum Database
By Keiichi Morisato
NOTE: The contents of this post refers to the restoration of an old backup of our forums so our members can retrieve old PM’s and attachments. This does not concern our LIVE forums, which registration remains open and free.
For those of you who are wondering if it’s going to be possible to retrieve your old PM’s and whatnot, please be aware that I’m in the middle of the process of attempting to temporarily restore the old database on a backup website. The backup database is large and it’s taking me some time to troubleshoot and to get everything to import correctly. When the restore of the old database is complete, I’ll post an announcement here, an announcement on the forums as well as a bulk email to all of our members.
Due to licensing restrictions with the software, once this backup is restored, I’ll only be able to keep it online and accessible for a limited amount of time, probably around two weeks to give everyone a chance to retrieve their old PM’s. Just keep your eyes peeled for an announcement.
The only exception is that we won’t be allowing any new registrations, registration will be disabled on the backup forums, as this restore is only intended to serve our members so they can retrieve their old PM’s.
Another Milestone for GP: 125,000 Posted Messages
By Keiichi Morisato
Working on a request from Timotheus, we’ve hit 125,000 posted messages and the landmark post (New Topic) highlights an article featuring Belldandy figures over at Dannychoo.com. This is a huge event for us at The Goddess Project.net and we’re excited to hit this new milestone. I can sense 150,000 right around the corner but I doubt we’ll hit that by the end of the year. At any rate, this is all thanks to the support of our wonderful community and I hope more of our visitors will continue to register for accounts and become participating members in our community.
Four Years, 125,000 Posted Messages & the 21st Anniversary of Ah! My Goddess
By Keiichi Morisato
If you haven’t checked out forums in some time, please take the time and stop by. The new forum upgrades have mostly been complete; we’ve fixed our account registration problems and activity on the forums haven’t been better. We have a new Reputation System where members can vote for each other to get their names displayed on the Board Index in our top 10 Reputation Leaders board and we’re working on adding even more features.
In addition to all of that and much more, we’re also on the verge of hitting a new record for the forums, 125,000 posted messages. It’s exciting for us because we never thought that we’d ever be around this long. Four years of operation and 125,000 posted messages later and we’ve outlasted some of the older Ah! My Goddess communities that have existed long before us. We’ve built a small yet strong community. We receive exclusive information regarding the future of the television series as well as the manga series and we also receive information pertaining to new merchandise being produced for the 20th anniversary of the manga series.
This Fall/Winter will mark the 21st anniversary of this long running manga series and with the 250th chapter of the manga only recently released in Japan, we’re all excited. So, share in the fun and stop by the forums, register for an account and join the rest of our community. We’re always looking for new ways to inject from fresh content into the site and to keep our site a fun and interesting resource of information.

While we’ll be adding skins to our forums over the next few weeks, you have the choice on how many skins you would like to see your banner on. While we don’t charge per click, we do charge:
