Thought everyone might enjoy some news that the cover artwork for Volume 42 of the tankouban manga series has been posted by Kodansha. Now, this is assuming that this is the actual art. There is a possibility that this may very well be preliminary artwork or just an ad for volume 42 as many manga publishers do to solicit for their manga title. The upcoming release of Ah! My Goddess v.42, which will include the first OAD anime episode for Ah! My Goddess, is being priced at ￥3,970, which converts to nearly $48 (U.S.) The standard manga generally sells for around ￥510, which might be a premium price for the release of this manga volume. If you’re intent on picking this one up, be sure to start saving now.

Great news. Dark Horse Comics has finally announced the release of Oh My Goddess Volume 17, the latest release of material that was previously released in the flipped format. With only three more volumes to be released of the original material, Dark Horse is getting that much closer to releasing the original first twenty volumes of the manga series.

For those of you who haven’t discovered it yet, Kodansha has announced that there is a new Ah! My Goddess anime in production. While this is a new anime event, it’s been listed an an “OAD.” If you would like to know more about this new anime production, check out our discussion topic here:
