New Graphics & Banners Coming Soon

If you notice that the homepage is lacking images and that some of our forum skins are lacking banners, there is a reason for that. The pesonal desktop that I have been using to edit graphics just up and died and I’m using a weaker machine. Until I can scrape up the funds to buy a new machine, which should be in another two weeks or so, the site will remain as it currently is.
I’m hoping to be able to create some new graphics soon enough so, just be a little patient with the lack of images.

Since we have a reseller account, we’re thinking of selling some of our account space, to our members and to anyone who is interested in some decent webspace to host your website. While your account would be hosted with our site .goddess-project.net, if anyone decides they would like to purchase an account, you would receive some decent space for your website as well as some generous bandwidth.
With the economy, we’re mainly looking for a way to keep the site funded so that we can continue to operate through the current economic mess that the world has found itself in. If you’re interested in creating your own website and would like an inexpensive alternative to those limited free website accounts, feel free to contact us. Just click on the ‘Contact Us‘ link or email us; goddess-project[at]comcast.net.
We will accept payment via Paypal. However, just contact us for further information. Each account would receive 3GB of space and 25GB of bandwidth and would be a cost of $5. Each signup would be able to choose their own domain name (ex; domain.goddess-project.net) and you would receive your own login control panel. The only thing is that you would need to abide by the terms of service of our webhost provider which does not allow torrents or pornography.
Each account would have their own email addresses, mysql and php as well as the ability to install their own message forum. There would also be free advertising through our message forums as well.

I had to disable the current skin because of a potential flaw in the source code. I’ll try and fix the problem and re-enable the skin sometime in the afternoon (January 30th). Just be a little patient.
New Banner Rework

Currently, I’m playing around with the site banner to reflect the You’re Under Arrest series, created by Kousuke Fujishima. There is still a lot of work to do for the banner, but, hopefyully, I can finish it by tomorrow. Let us know what you think about the banner, even although it’s only half finished.

Four Years, 125,000 Posted Messages & the 21st Anniversary of Ah! My Goddess

If you haven’t checked out forums in some time, please take the time and stop by. The new forum upgrades have mostly been complete; we’ve fixed our account registration problems and activity on the forums haven’t been better. We have a new Reputation System where members can vote for each other to get their names displayed on the Board Index in our top 10 Reputation Leaders board and we’re working on adding even more features.
In addition to all of that and much more, we’re also on the verge of hitting a new record for the forums, 125,000 posted messages. It’s exciting for us because we never thought that we’d ever be around this long. Four years of operation and 125,000 posted messages later and we’ve outlasted some of the older Ah! My Goddess communities that have existed long before us. We’ve built a small yet strong community. We receive exclusive information regarding the future of the television series as well as the manga series and we also receive information pertaining to new merchandise being produced for the 20th anniversary of the manga series.
This Fall/Winter will mark the 21st anniversary of this long running manga series and with the 250th chapter of the manga only recently released in Japan, we’re all excited. So, share in the fun and stop by the forums, register for an account and join the rest of our community. We’re always looking for new ways to inject from fresh content into the site and to keep our site a fun and interesting resource of information.

We’re currently accepting advertisers for our forums. If you would like to bring traffic to your commercial or personal website, we’re accepting banners for each skin on our forums. While we’ll be adding skins to our forums over the next few weeks, you have the choice on how many skins you would like to see your banner on. While we don’t charge per click, we do charge:
$15 per month for the default skin
$10 per month for secondary skins
We receive thousands of hits per month from not just our members but also from visitors and guests to our forums. Since many of our members use the default skin, this improves the chance of your business receiving additional hits from our members. Since we have a Paypal account, you can pay for banner space through Paypal, Check or Money Order.
