I saw a website that features a lot of A!MG material.. It also contain A!MG hentai's and such...it is a certain spin off of imageboards..what interest me is that one of the poster who said "Those Hentai's are keeping people off.."

you may know the site, but i'm not posting it...

so is this true? Do A!MG fans do not want their goddesses to be "violated" that way.. or are most of the fans are perverts..

For every successful anime, there is bound to be a fanfic if you have fans who love it enough. And AMG! has hundreds.
And of course, with every successful anime, your gonna have a hentai associated with it in time. Like it or not.
Personally, AMG! is my favorite anime and manga because it is a BEAUTIFUL story. It is one of those few romance comedies that dwells on the silliness, sweetness, and innocence of love. It reminds me of my own youth in a way, although I didnt have 4 beautiful goddesses running around , (ok, just one actually, at least to me she was) or have crazy adventures like K-I. Well, at least not till I became a Fireman anyway. Wanna talk about weird adventures, try working in Fire/EMS.
Still, there are those who like hentai, including AMG! in hentai format, but just my honest opinion, it really does cheapen a very good story.
Kinda like taking Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and making it into a porno. I just dont care for it.
But hey, thats my opinion.

totally agree, but when it comes to an anime character being popular (especially beautiful girls) this is expected..... I don't like hentai putting characters like that, it just kinda wrong! but like I said, its the cost of being famous! pour megamis !!!

I agree. Some anime and manga just shouldn't be hentai-ized. I just don't understand why they have to spoof good shows with this crap and create original characters and original material on their own. Instead, they flood the market with this crap.

Neutral. Even though most of AMG hentai looks ugly (like most of hentai in general) and there is no plot at all, some cover art is nice.

considering the fact that the main characters in the series have yet to do more than rarely -and I mean rarely- kiss, I find that comparison hard to accept, even the most libidinous goddesses, Urd and Peorth, only stray into ecchi territory on occaision

oh, i dont mean doujin status hentai, (sorry for any misunderstandings) i mean hentai as in just random pictures with nudity. while reading some chapters, there are some parts that contains PARTIAL nudity, and so i just thought that it was pretty close to that.

Patial nudity is found in a lot of Japanese series which are not hentai, the Japanese are probably just less inhibited about sex than the U.S.

I noticed over the years that the partial nudity has slowly faded out from most main stream anime. When I first got into anime with Ranma 1/2 or Devil Hunter Yohko, it was every other series that something show. I think when anime became mainstream in the U.S. many Japanese companies started to take a cleaner approach so it wouldn't offend anyone. (This is one reason they have yet to release Sailor Moon Stars, their worried the gender bending characters would offend American audiences, and why it too so long to get S released here do to relationship between Uranus and Neptune)

Or any other younger character. Then again anime has many different styles within itself. Hentai is just one of them, much like yuri and yaoi are different genera. Think of it as different levels of ecchii going from mild to over the top.

Personal note: I rarely care for hentai based on anime characters. I really wish tho they would leave the underage characters alone, I don't like the idea of seeing Skuld like that. Plus I like the clean feel of AMG and other works by Mr Fujishima or Sailor Moon creator (which I've forgot this momement). Yet being popular tends to get you targeted by all sorts of deviate persons.

I'm not a fan of porn personally, and if I h ave to watch it AMG hentai I get kinda turned off by Belldandy specifically doing depraved things. I'd rather see Banpei involved in something like that, Belldandy just seems so innocent it seems wrong to me. But I dont care that it exists. I mean, in the manga they're half-naked a lot(naked more recently) for fanservice, so it's not like the series is so pure and clean-minded to begin with.

Untrue. Japan is more open to nudity but FARRR more reserved about sex than the U.S. The reason is nudity doesn't automatically equate sex in Japan, while America, with its Protestan background associated nudity with sex and sin. But like Brian mentioned, more and more anime has adapted foreign standards of decency and cut back on nudity, Japanese in backgrounds, etc.

AMG is a series that started out with some occasional raunchy innuendo, then dropped it as the writing and style of the series became very wholesome and innocent, more recently there's tons of shameless fanservice and superfluous nudity. C'mon, Urd running around Naked for no reason, seeing Belldandy's bum for half an arc, etc. Amg hasn't been innocent in a loooong time. It's not borderline porn like Love Hina, but it does contain a two-page girl-on-girl makeout scene. lol Even during the "sweet" periods there were things like Urd fondling Skuld's naked body in the hot springs. In the end, it is a manga series aimed at single young men--it panders to its fanbase when it has to.

Sailormoon with the loli-incestuous storylines and (anime)nudity-happy transformation sequences? Neither series gets wrapped up in gratuity but there's plenty of perversion in both series.

AMG at its raunchiest is still a rather innocent series, especilly when compared to maistresam series like Ikki Tousen, Rosario + Vampire, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiy and others which dip into the nudity/fanservice well far more, mainstream anime is probably still more risque then primetime tv in the US. Granted AMG isn't totally innocent, but comparatively, its still a very wholesome series.

I agree. Some anime and manga just shouldn't be hentai-ized.

I appreciate some Hentai art and but only the covers and non-sexual image (you should see some eroge game images.. skip the sexual acts, and that's work of art!!!).. apart from that, Hentai A!MG, well, is "heartbreaking"..

Like Justin had said.. Belle is to pure to be "molested" that way.. i am gravely affected seeing Belle on Hentai
