Don't waste your time on Tenchi in Tokyo. It's disappointing compared to the rest of the Tenchi-verse-on par with Ai! Tenchi or the newest version of Pretty Sammy.

Too late, I picked the disks up cheap at the used-video store. Now I have to watch 'em!
I got some of the Tenchi Universe disks there, but not all of them so far. I did get the Tench Muyo: Ryo Ohki set for $12.

Somebody name a new series for me to watch. I haven't seen anything new regarding anime in a while and I need some good recommendations.

Sorry, I've been kind of busy catching up with old anime. The first three episodes of Izetta The Last Witch are great, but I've seen a couple of reviews that say the rest don't live up to their full potential. Still, how can you go wrong with a witch riding a 20mm antitank gun instead of a broomstick?

Maybe it's time you gave VanDread a chance!

Go read the manga of 3x3 Eyes. The anime doesn't even begin to touch the entirety of the series.  It's one of my favorites, and a huge inspiration behind a lot of the monsters in my stories.  Good to hear Cartoon Network is running some of the old classic anime's again too.

I've almost finished watching Black Lagoon. What can I say, I do have some favorite anime shows that I love to sit down and watch repeatedly, now that I'm back on my anime kick. :blum::grin:

I watched an episode of Magic Knight Rayearth last night. The three girls had a hair color scheme like Angel Tales, and their little creature friend reminded me of Pokémon and Mistress Celcia from Those Who Hunt Elves.

Just started watching Planetes. After this, it'll probably be either Gundam 00, Clannad or Ah! My Goddess. Haven't decided yet. That's several hours from now yet. heh

I've jumped back into my anime kick. Now that I've finished with Clannad, I've moved onto Gundam 00, 50 episodes to watch through.

Just finished watching Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu....the first season. Have one more season and some OVA to go.

The anime is about Haruka-san, the first daughter of a very wealthy, 'my dad bought me an island'-type wealthy...who has a secret...she is a closet otaku...and her friendship with a boy in her class, Yuuto.

This anime is very much like Ah my Goddess in many ways...and both series share a seiyuu (Haruka's seiyuu also voiced Mishima Sayoko in the 2005 AMS anime series.)

Belldandy : Nogizaka Haruka...daughter of a rich and powerful man, has long brown hair, gentle, kind, and very gifted..

Keiichi : Ayase Yuuto...typical ordinary high school student, lives with his older sister, and her friend...who also happens to be his homeroom teacher...

Urd; Mika...boy crazy, also Haruka's younger sister...

Lind: Hazuki-san, Haruka's maid...probably was a spy in a past life...

Tyr: Haruka's dad Gentou-san....thinks Ayase is not good enough for his daughter...his wife thinks otherwise

Fun series!

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie In April). Opening theme Hikaru Nara by Goose House is amazing.

A Sister's All You Need did get better after the first couple of episodes. It's still Guilty.

Upotte! was just plain crazy. The gun facts were cool.

Watched Dimension W again, still as strange as I remembered.

Photon: The Idiot Adventures — don't regret watching but not a keeper.

Finally saw The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzimiya. That was kind of…demented. But in a good way.

Amagi Brilliant Park. Clever, funny and engaging, at least after 5 episodes.
