What's your nationality?

Thought it would be interesting to have a list that indicates which nations are appearing at GP.net. ^_^

Please, help me correcting and updating the list since I can/could partly only guess (was also too lazy to read all the intro topics ^_^;).

So if you're country isn't on the list, just let me know. ^_^

By the way, only the nationality counts, not the country you are currently located in or where you (or your ancestors) originally come from. (if you have two nationalities, state both ^_^)

Anyways, that's how it goes so far:

- Argentina

- Australia

- Belgium

- Canada

- Chile

- China

- Costa Rica

- Estonia

- Finland

- France

- Germany

- Great Britain/United Kingdom

- Greece

- India

- Indonesia

- Israel

- Italy

- Latvia

- Malaysia

- Mexico

- Peru

- Poland

- Portugal

- Russia

- Singapore

- Spain

- the Netherlands

- the Philippines

- Ukraine

- USA

- Vietnam

currently 31 nations are appearing here

We already have two other topics about where someone is from, I locked those and pinned this one. Don't make any more of them.

Thanks for the effort, Iggy... but you seem to have got it wrong a bit this time.... (if this happened because I hadn't expressed myself clearly enough I apologize for that)

You know, as mentioned above I'm not interested in the location (or where the members are from,) but their (current) nationality.

(That's why I think the other two topics can/should be opened again.)

Just to take me as example, I haven't been a German citizen from the beginning on.

I'll change the title for the moment.

(until someone has a better idea ^_^;)

You forgot to include the Baltic countries, Latvia and Estonia, as well as Ukraine. Former USSR doesn't mean Russia only. ;)

*cough, You know, there are quite some countries in that "area" and I wasn't sure which of them to add. Sorry. ^_^;

Anyways, thank you very much for the info. ^_^

@all (British members)

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but is "Great Britain" or "UK" (more) correct?

I don't know if the term "GB" is considered to include Northern Ireland as well.

If I made any mistakes let me know. ^_^

Both terms are completely correct depending on their usage.

Great Britain consists of the countries of England, Scotland, and Wales, whereas UK is actually short for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island.
